"I speak today as both a citizen of the United States and of the world." Ronald Reagan 6/17/82.
"I'm not a citizen of the world, that's utterly ridiculous!" Newt Gingrich 6/8/09.

I believe the salamander just dissed his Holiness, Saint Ronald of Reagan.

1. They have no idea what they believe.
They just believe the opposite whatever Obama just said.

Unprincipled = Republicans.

2. How dare he. He owes Nancy an apology plus he should do some sort of penance.
Maybe scrub the toilets at the Reagan Library with his tooth brush.

5. By "citizen of the world" Reagan meant "overlord"....
Gingrich is worried that "citizen" might be misinterpreted to include responsibilities and obligations.

10. Ron Reagan just brought that very thing up on his radio show today.

Talking about how Newt idolizes his (Reagan's) father, so him putting Obama down for saying essentially the same thing is just one more piece of BS coming for Newt.

11. It used to be bragging to say you were a "citizen of the world"
It meant you had the money to travel and it meant you were knowledgeable and broad-minded for having contact with so many other cultures.
