I think this is the saddest story I've heard this year.....
This is such a tragic story. Not being a parent, I don't know what I'd have done if I found myself in the same circumstances......

Devoted parents whose grief drove them to Beachy Head

1. Wow. How terribly sad. I wish our culture would talk more openly about loss
and how terribly people suffer when they lose a loved one -- it is an overwhelming experience for the strongest of us and the loss of a child is acknowledged as the worst experience possible.

they thought they were going to lose him but things get better and they start looking forward to a good future and then suddenly he is taken away.

3. I don't see how that can top
this one http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5774708

and it'd be a miracle if it was sadder than this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2kxlZDOHeQ

Sorry if the levity is inappropriate. I am probably not gonna read that story. There is all too much sadness and suffering in the world. Of that I am certain. "I wish that our world was a kinder place". "If I had one wish" by Jackie French Koller (note, the movie by the same name does not compare to the book)

6. Oh God, that's heartbreaking. But so completely understandable at the same time.
