In the immortal words of George Carlin...
"Pro-life people are not pro-life. They want live babies to make dead soliders."

Precisely.

1. Well, that's certainly true of the far right-wingers, but even they can get things right
sometimes, albeit as a cynical, political front.

3. George Carlin was the sort of man....
needed in the Senate. Maybe, more than one of his sort.

14. He was hardened enough to deal with con artists and shysters on a daily basis.
I think one of the big reasons why good people don't run for Senate or House of Representatives is because they cannot stomach the level of sewage that emanates from inside the halls of Congress.

10. They dumped some of his ashes in a lake about a mile from my home
where he used to go to summer camp as a kid. Every time I drive by there I think of George.

8. Irony is a powerful rhetoric
George Carlin was a great man that happened to be hilariously funny and humble.

More intelligent scientists and comedians should go into politics instead of attorneys, "Believers", and business folks.

We would all be better informed and served.
