My beloved father, a retired army major, had a military funeral. He lived a long life and died at the age of 86. However, at the moment that they honored him with "Taps" I began weeping like an inconsolable child. I can't imagine the intensity of the GRIEF experienced by the families of our YOUNG soldiers whose life has been cut short. :cry: :(
