Hannity's listeners....

I was listening to about 15 minutes of talk radio on the way home this evening. Sean Hannity was taking calls from his fans. To a number, they all thought that Cheney did an "awesome" job. It was like a heavyweight fight, one caller said. It was a knockout by Cheney. A teabagger called in to ask Hannity if he remembered her red, white, and blue hat and her sign at the event? Hannity could not remember and to his credit, he did not lie to her.

In a way, it is scary. These folks looked at the two speeches today the way they would look at a football game. It was all a game to them. They were oblivious to what our Constitution says or means. Torture meant no more to them than a hill of beans. In another way, it was very sad.
