My radio stumbled into the dark side
On my way to Austin for my kid's graduation this weekend. Fiddled with the scan button in the rent car and it stops at a talk show called "Liberty Live" What I heard as my head exploded;
"Homosexual activists use the word GAY because they want people to equate their perversions with being happy."

Caller: "allowing gay marriage is one step closer to someone being allowed to marry my 6 year old and saying it should be protected under sexual preference"

Host: We need to start calling it "counterfeit marriage" instead of gay marriage because it would be like adding counterfeit bills into our money system...the dollar would become devalued just like marriage would get devalued" (they then compared it to POTUS pumping money into the economy)

"The homosexuals used to allow Nambla members march in their parades"

_____
Next time I reach for the scan button, will someone break my fingers? Should of left it on the Polka Music channel.

5. I just saw the video of that!
That was definitely one of the most Unbelievable TV Moments Ever.

For those who have yet to enjoy it, go here (and no, this is not a rickroll, it's way better):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye3ecDYxOkg

Must be viewed to be believed. (Perhaps it will also wash away the bad taste of right-wing radio.)

Never play with the scan button in a rent a car. They are all set to make your head explode!

3. Central TX has a German heritage area
Towns and shops, etc.lots of touristy stuff. Not sure how many residents share the heritage but there are always signs between Dallas and Austin with billboard ads.
