13. Photos don't include the smell. Or the sound. Or the feeling of the air.

Whenever people exaggerate the "information" contained in a photo, I just think back to Nam ... and the hours of boredom leavened by times of ridiculous Mickey Mouse horseshit and punctuated by so many moments of terror. It's a "full body" experience, not anything as sterile as a photograph.

How do you photograph a human being's psyche screaming to get out?
