Breaking: Gates Report on AF 1 Flyover finds FAA did notify several agencies
Just reported on MSNBC. The NYC mayor's office was contacted, but the message never made it to Bloomberg. They also listed off several other agencies that FAA notified prior to the flyover.

1. Yeah, I'm sure FOX will report this as "breaking news"
:sarcasm:

Hannity actually claimed Obama was ON the damn plane at the time!

6. Brown mustard IS slightly (and I mean slightly) more expensive - but with a good reason.
Brown mustard is made MOSTLY FROM MUSTARD SEEDS!

The yellow death shit like French's is mostly corn syrup, vinegar, food coloring, salt, oh, and a little bit of mustard powder just so they can call it mustard.

And ketchup is mostly corn syrup too!

The FOX burger: "I would like an extra rare blood-dripping burger with a slice of processed American cheese food product and some yellow corn syrup sauce and some red corn syrup sauce."

8. That yellow stuff should be called "mustard condiment product".
Real mustard does not contain high fructose corn syrup and it also not bright yellow. It is more of a brown with specks from the mustard seed hulls.

9. Well, yeah, the yellow shit isn't "MUSTARD"
I like your term - "mustard condiment product", but wouldn't "artificial mustard flavored condiment product" be more descriptive?

10. I assume even the puke yellow stuff does have some real mustard in it.
Not sure how practical it would be to do artificial mustard flavor - seems as if it would be easier to throw in a snippet of the real thing.

7. I am shocked, shocked I tell ya that Hannity would get the facts wrong like that.
Knowing how he always makes sure of his facts AND the context before he opens his piehole.:sarcasm:

4. Interesting.
That photo will probably be a rather infamous "unit farewell gift," nonetheless.

5. I don't care if they WERE notified. WHO approved the flyover and why?
Edited on Fri May-08-09 12:01 PM by Triana
THAT person needs to be fired. It was a stupid stunt - and done for a photo-op. Someone needs to clue them into the magic of PHOTOSHOP up there.

EDIT: This "well the FAA notified so-and-so" is just a distraction from the above issue.

13. That was reported on the day, shortly after the event;
the Admin notified EVERYONE they should have notified, and NO ONE informed the public; the info got stuck in some number of bureaucracies.

14. Didn't some of the initial reports say that some agencies had been notified
but they had been told to keep it secret?
