Let me get the party started. I nominate George Bush as greatest subversive comic genius since Andy Kaufmann.

Dad made it in oil, Bush drilled holes in bank accounts that Middle Easterners had to fill. Takes a lot for a Bahrainian to buy oil in Texas at a loss.

Dad had the multi-generational family compound in NE, Bush bought a ranch months before a presidential campaign, went on a War On Mesquite.

Dad, as long-time republican honcho and former head of the CIA, was a prime behind the scenes string puller. Bush let himself become the empty suit for a fat, bald, morally vacant svengali of dubious sexual orientation who was such a fucked up kid that his lifelong dream was to become a behind the scenes, morally vacant string puller from 100 years ago called Mark Hannah, known only to history phds.

Dad launched a righteous war to right an aggressive wrong, reaped the windfall, and got out before the mess stuck, Bush….well, you know the score.

Dad was respected, but lost bid for term 2. Bush got the term 2, fuck the respect baby!.

I can’t wait to see this comic genius’s subversive take on Dad’s careful skirting of consequences for ignoring rule of law, pardoning his co-conspirators in Iran Contra. That’s gonna be a good one.
