Those aren't Specter's seats; those are the Republican seats they deserve given the party makeup of the Senate. We'll need to rearrange the Senate both for the party swap of Arlen Specter and for the addition of Al Franken. That might change the membership of a committee or two, but not to the extent that we would get an extra in every committee Specter is a member of--and we certainly can't keep both the chairmanship and ranking member spots in the committees in which Specter holds rank. We play by the rules.

Had the Dems only challenged Coleman earlier, forced him to concede the way that they'd have forced us were the situation reversed, perhaps we'd have sixty seats today.
