As There's No Statute of Limitations on War Crimes, This Won't End With Obama

If Obama doesn't act, someone else will. It might not be an American. It may be an international tribunal.

Could Obama pardon bush and cheney? I don't know. Could he pardon them for murder and allow them to walk scot free if they had shot somebody to death? I don't think so. I think a president can commute a sentence, but pardon someone for a crime that has no statute of limitations without an investigation or a trial? I don't think so.

I wish Obama would just turn this over to the JD and let Holder handle it. Everything Obama has accomplished to improve our standing in the world will be for naught if we refuse to prosecute our own war criminals, especially as we are legally bound to do so.

1. Obama Should Ensure That Holder Prosecutes.

They are confessed war criminals - it's really quite simple. Why give them a pass?

If Holder doesn't prosecute these people, then he's not doing his job and should be replaced.
