We have to get the vid on this one.

Boom bust, boom bust, Great Depression, put regulations in place, fifty years of stable economy. Then we start unraveling the regulations, and then the S and L crisis where 700 institutions failed. Then further unraveling of regulations, and we get to where we are today.

14. I saw that earlier today. It does make one wonder.

Chronic economic troubles in this country. But I suppose that's the new warfare. Cheat and profit. Obama has a big mess on his hands. And the mess isn't solving the problems, but fighting those who want to keep things the same. Or so I think. :)

A real live progressive. Just laid out how the New Deal reforms resulted in 50 years of economic calm and steady growth, and how Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush deregulation resulted in S&L, banking disasters and boom & bust economies.

I think I have a crush on her.

11. She's good. She wrote a well known article a couple of years ago

showing that a large percentage of bankruptcies were caused by medical bills and those people HAD MEDICAL INSURANCE!

She's really sharp on this stuff and seems really authentic. Ive seen her on another show (KO?) and she's really great.
