Why are rightwingers complaining about capitalism?
The reason that so many illegals are coming to this country is CAPITALISM.

It's simple....

company finds people who they can hire for less money = company makes more money.

Why are they complaining about capitalism?

4. Because liberals have hijacked it and given it a bad name in a bizarrely elaborate communist hoax
Edited on Thu Apr-09-09 05:49 PM by Democracyinkind

You know, true capitalism was in the old days, before the coming of the liberal reality bias.
(I imagine the history loving RW version of "good capitalism" to be one of the best jokes ever made. Some of them really miss the the whole slave-owning thing. If this "evil liberal capitalism" can provide something near enough though, say mexicans, we're sure the first to hire.)

ayn rand my ass.

5. Right wing ideology is fundamentally incoherent
Edited on Thu Apr-09-09 05:53 PM by alcibiades_mystery
Capitalism is anti-nationalist. It needs the support of governments to function, but has essentially no concern for borders (one of capitalism's many contradictions). Indeed, if you were to really embrace capitalist logic, a border and immigration quotas are merely government regulations that serve to stymie and distort a labor market. There is no capitalist justification for immigration quotas, or any actual restriction on the locations where one could sell one's labor on a market. That's holdover nationalism, which is essentially feudalist (not capitalist) in its orientation. Capitalism is not territorial. It is fundamentally deterritorializing, because it reduces every relationship (including that between the so-called "citizen" and the State) to a universal equivalent (i.e., money).

There is no such thing as a capitalist immigration policy. All immigration policies are socialist by definition.
