Levi Johnston: "Pretty Sure" Sarah Palin Knew Of Sex Going On Under Her Roof

Posted on Apr 03, 2009 @ 09:58

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/04/levi-johnston-pretty-sure-sarah-palin-knew-sex-going-under-her-roof

Levi Johnston, the teenage father of Sarah Palin's granddaughter, said the former vice presidential candidate let daughter Bristol share a room with him at their Alaskan home, knowing they were probably having sex.

"I'm pretty sure she probably knew," Johnston, who admitted there were times the couple didn't use protection, told Tyra Banks in a segment on her show slated to air Monday. "Moms are pretty smart."

The couple's child, Tripp Easton Mitchell, was born Dec. 27, 2008; Bristol Palin told the AP she was "devastated" when the couple split up last month, while Levi hinted of a future reconciliation to ABC news last month.

Johnston was prominently featured onstage during last year's Republican National Convention.

5. Two high school age kids sharing a room?
Let's see . . . think, think. Naw, they're not going to have s-e-x! Sarah may have been smart enough to know that young Bristol and Levi were gettin' it on, but she apparently wasn't smart enough to deny them a room in her house for that purpose. And apparently, Sarah is upset with Levi for . . . well, something. Maybe Sarah thinks Bristol's still a virgin? Or because Levi kept so obediently silent during the campaign, she thought he'd stay quiet forever?

Sarah doesn't impress me as the brightest porch light on the block.

14. More likely they were overcome
by their hormones, in conjunction with an overriding media push to sexualize every damn stage of our lives.

By the way, home schoolers are not the stereotypes you believe them to be.

19. Where did I stereotype home schoolers?
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 04:59 PM by Bjorn Against
And Sarah Palin supported abstinence only education, is it not more than a bit hypocritical to run on an abstinence only platform while your teen daughter has her boyfriend sleeping with her in the downstairs bedroom?

25. Hypocritical? Absolutely!
But why bring home schoolers into the debate? You stereotype home schoolers by insinuating that this is the type of information we teach.

By the way, Palin sent her kids to public school, until Bristol became pregnant, they put her in a distance education program. Whatever abstinence only program she learned (and one could effectively argue that Bristol didn't learn a damn thing about abstinence, lol), she did not learn it in a home schooled environment. Not everything learned at home can be blamed on home schooling.

12. I'm guessing the parents were trying to rope this kid in
because they didn't like the daughter's other friends. It's also possible that she was already preg and they needed a respectable father.

13. Sarah Palin was pregnant when SHE got married.
She's phony. She doesn't even believe half the moralistic crap she advocates. That's for show.

15. I was pregnant before I got married.
Okay, technically my fiance was, but I was expecting a child to show up in a few months' time.
It's not a bad thing. Beat up Palin for her rotten politics, but leave peoples' personal lives out of it.

21. that was his point, she is a hypocrite on these issues
not that she was pregnant before marriage in itself. but that she preaches abstinence and other crap when she herself doesn't live it.

23. No, it's not a bad thing at all. The hyper-moralistic religious right creationist garbage that
Palin is pushing, however, IS a bad thing.

16. The part that I'm most fascinated with is ...
... that he admitted to having not used condoms on occasion.

Which meant that sometimes he did use condoms.

Isn't that against Jesus' law or something?

and they can be pretty damn clueless and unworldly.

+1 on the picture of the gorgeous, sultry, and smart-looking Tyra Banks, by the way. Is she examining the relative lengths of Levi's fingers to determine what team he bats for? :D
