By Mark Karlin

Rev. Moon has adopted a relatively low-profile in recent years (if you don't count his bizarre "coronation" by elected officials in a Capitol Hill House of Representatives meeting room a couple years back), but that hasn't prevented the weird religious leader (and close ally of the Bush family) from pouring an estimated 1 - 2.5 billion dollars into subsidizing the Washington Times since 1982.

1. Has there been a Moon sighting lately?
The last sighting I can find was when his chopper crashed into a mountain on July 20, 2008. He was listed as injured.

When the old bugger dies, there will be no announcement. Having god die is always bad for a cult's business.

However, they'd better wheel him out soon or the cat will be out of the bag.

What wonderful karma.

The founder of the Unification Church was released from a South Korean hospital Sunday, a day after he and 15 others were injured when their helicopter crashed on a mountain near Seoul.

The Rev. Sun Myung Moon, 88, was injured slightly when the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter crashed during an emergency landing and burst into flames in Gapyeong, about 37 miles northeast of the capital.

Moon was released from Cheongshim Hospital on Sunday, his spokesman Ahn Ho-yeul told The Associated Press.

Also injured were Moon's wife and other members of his family. His wife and several others remained hospitalized Sunday, Ahn said, but did not give further details.

Moon and the others were "safe," the church said in a brief statement on its Web site.

5. I wish I understood Korean, because the TV preachers in Korean sure seem worked up about something.
It must be difficult to keep that level of flip-out running all the time.

Wish I knew what they're talking about.
