Poll question: What solution will the Congressional Republicans introduce?
Edited on Thu Mar-26-09 10:23 AM by Deep13
It is insufficient for the party of "no" to refuse to cooperate with the majority party. At some point they will need their own ideas to tackle our economic problems. What proposal are they most likely to support?

3. Privatize, cut taxes on the wealthy, deregulate
Wash, rinse repeat. Doesn't matter that wrt the Obama healthcare plan the public option will be 20% cheaper than a private option, the GOP doesn't want the public to be allowed to choose a public option.

4. "Tax Cuts For the Rich"
I mean, think about it, the rich people are the entrepeneurs, business owners, employers and the like. JUST IMAGINE what they would do if they got to keep more of their own money....why, they would build more factories, pay better wages, provide better benefits....it would be a UTOPIA I tell ya!! All we need to do is lower their taxes and it would be so much better for all of us!! We should try this approach, I'm series, we've never done this before, it's guaranteed to work!!1!!1!!

9. Yeah, it's funny now. But we bought into this horseshit for some 30 years...
And to think there are still some among us who believe this will solve the current economic malaise...
