Karl Rove and the company that keeps him
I'm wondering what others thought who had a chance to tune in one way or another the annual Broadcasters' dinner in Washington last night.

Rove was asked to the stage to be part of a skit orchestrated by the entertainers of the night. In order to set up the skit, he was asked what kind of things he liked to do.

"Well, I like to go home and have a drink." The guy setting up the skit was just nodding his head when Karl Rove stopped himself and said, "and, of course, since I don't drink alchohol, it wouldn't be alcohol."

I dont give a shit whether he goes home at night and has a drink or not. What bothers me is that is a perfectly normal thing to do, and he was acting like a kid who had just gotten his hand caught in the cookie jar. He was either lying or trying to make a feeble abstinence statement.

His favorite things to do, next, in the order he recited them off, was "tearing the heads of wild animals," philatetism(sp?)=stamp collecting, and quail hunting.

The whole thing was creepy, like he was trying to prove what a weirdo or free spirit-in-his-own-mind.

These people are fucking weirdos, social malcontents and misfits, and they truly think they are funny, amusing, and get to do anything they want.

It's making me ill to write this....

1. It's pure Rove covering both bases. Oh such brilliance! (Sarcasm)

Anything Rove does is not by chance, no doubt. Why the hell doesn't that brilliant SOB run for president? Because he likes to hide behind power I guess. He is disgusting.

Edit: Didn't see the show but can picture the SOB (perfect word for him) doing and saying things that would insult someone with an IQ of 70.

2. I was walking past the tv when I saw a portion of that skit on MSNBC.
Needless to say, I almost blew chunks onto the tv screen.

Does Rove not think that people would be snickering behind closed doors?

6. I dont know anything about Gregory except I wonder why someone cant "clean him up" a bit
He's strange looking and always seems just a little off or out of it or not in step with regular folk, something I cant put my finger on. I hope it's NOT because he's one of them!

7. I found it TOTALLY offensive.
I felt as though both he and Little Lord Pissypants gave America a BIG F*CK YOU last night. I was completely disgusted.

Like they're getting back for all the abuse they perceive they took growing up. As if they are the survival of the "fittest."
