How much of an increase resulted from bringing off budget items into view?

Obama said he inherited a $1.3T/yr deficit. Just from memory, didn't Bush say that the deficit for 2008 was about $450B?

That $850B is a reflection of the shady accounting and criminal mentality that crashed the economy, no?

I take it that includes the items Bush kept off the books. IF that is true, why isn't it being brought out more clearly and why aren't questions about this "accounting" being pointedly directed at the R'Thugs.

1. Yes, that's right.

The wars were kept off the budget by being called 'special requests for funding' or some other such stupidity.

And any repuke whining about deficits now must be able to twirl his head around on his neck 360 degrees.

And it isn't being talked about because the MSM is under control of right wing hacks.
