Oh that's right, I almost forgot, there WERE no tough questions from the press for the previous 'president' for eight whole fucking years. The tough questioner, Helen Thomas, was HIDDEN from view, banished, physically removed and forbidden to even enter the room to ask his majesty anything.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, not only were tough questions absent, softball questions were asked by male prostitutes posing as reporters, and then the idiot ape would give inarticulate, rambling, crack head non answers, peppered with giggles and smirks and unfunny jokes all while thousands were dying horrible deaths.

"hidden from view". Anyone with the notion to ask a tough question was consigned to "siberia" (the back row), and never called on. This was no accident. The MSM anchors make their bucks for asking the President questions. Under Bush, the first time anyone of them asked a tough question was the last time they had a chance to ask questions at all. When they cannot ask questions, they cannot "get the story", and they become dispensable to the network. (translate: lose their jobs, and just like you and me, all these folks like to be employed)

Barack, on the other hand, has no fear and spreads the question opportunities around the room. I just loved his response "because I like to know what I am talking about before I speak" (just one more sharp contrast to shrub).

17. OK, so is this thread about anger towards the press doing it's job?

It seems like a lot of people here are angry because the journalists didn't do their job under Bush but are now doing their job under President Obama.

And President Obama seems to be handling every single question, no matter how tough like he could do it with one arm tied behind his back. I know I feel that he's working as hard as he can, and I also feel that he's explained that right now it's necessary to stop the bleeding. That this is step 1. Triage. Then will come the next step, and the next after that. This is a long process and it will take time. And since I don't have even the minutest clue as to what else can be done, I'm hoping he can do it.
