Over the air TV is total crap on a Monday night primetime!
(well most nights for that matter...)

I can't stand being unemployed and de-satellited...

5. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT...
It's like a cross between the Solid Gold Dancers and the National Inquirer...

I despise "reality" TV - the only exceptions are the shows based on following someone around in their real life high adventure job like "Ice Road Truckers" etc. but those are only on cable.

9. It's not for everyone's tastes.
As a lot of shows. I'm not a huge reality TV fan either but I've become really addicted to watching this one. I work second shift so I hardly watch a lot of primetime TV, but it seems like I have a lot of Mondays off, so I just continued to watch it.

27. It all depends on your bandwidth and it's hard to watch on a laptop.
so there are some drawbacks but it will probably become competitive with other delivery systems soon.

you can connect your pc to your TV and view it on your TV.

I am canceling my dish this month since finding it.

25. I actually was using my computer projector for a TV
for a long time but my bulb finally blew. I'll have to wait until I'm working again to buy a new one. Once that's done then it really wouldn't be an issue.

The biggest problem is sound because you don't get digital sound outs off your laptop (at least not yet)

What would be cool in the next generation of laptops would be an HDMI connector so that you can plug into sound systems and TV's etc. seamlessly combined with a handheld remote.

15. I agree, and my TV has not been on for at least 2 weeks, doubt
if it will go on for another 2 weeks. I keep it only because my Internet rate will go up if I drop the basic cable. Thanks to Comcast, all I have is garbage. I get my news here and in the daily paper.

21. In Detroit, the Red Wings are the class of sports.
Other than them, I love World Cup soccer every three years. I really can't watch the Detroit Lions they're so abysmal. Basketball bores me and baseball only interests me in person, at the game.

They already switched over...

I had a satellite box that also did terrestrial digital but it died on me and I'm not about to go spend money on toys when I'm broke and unemployed.

19. I get about 16 over the air PBS stations - stations that people with cable and satellite
don't even get. No commercials, free, high def and there is almost always something worth watching on. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Never thought anything could be worse than CSI:Miami's shark jumping.

Let's put this lint we found in the victim's pocket under the microscope, take a sample and spin it in this cuisinart while rock music is playing, scan the lint into the computer, enhance to 400%, and EUREKA! We found the killer!:eyes:
