CIA and the torture program
Tenet:

...

What do we do to protect a just society? And here's the bottom line for CIA and American intelligence officers, look, a country has to have an understanding and debate about where you want to fit in this moral spectrum. What do you need to do to protect the lives of your fellow citizens? If you don't want intelligence officers crossing lines that raise moral and legal lines that you're not comfortable with as a democratic society, then let's not do them. Let's not do those things. We're not advocates. All I can tell you is what we were up against at the time. All I can tell you is how valuable this program was.

Black:

...

I like to think we are brainy enough to know that if something isn’t working we stop it and try something else. We didn’t have the luxury of being inefficient. It is standard procedure in a combat zone to interrogate prisoners of war. I think at last count the CIA is accused of waterboarding three guys. The waterboarding was done legally, with the Department of Justice signing off on it. I’m an operations guy, and I’m not a big fan of interrogations, but you know, life’s tough and there are no easy answers. The American people have to decide if they want interrogations done or not. If not, the repercussions will have to be on someone else’s conscience.

Debate? The CIA doesn't care what the public thinks. The CIA as self professed super-patriots are above debate and laws.

1. we should abolish the cia. we have not been sovereign since they were
established in 1945 or 49 or whatever it was. We can replace them with something legal and above board, but they should seriously GO.

Both these guys can go get f*cked. On second thought, Black can get f*cked twice.
