Roses for Elizabeth Edwards--Just arrived at Edwards Campaign HQ

I heard the flowers have arrived at the HQ and they are beautiful. I didn't hear if Elizabeth was there yet, but pictures are forthcoming!

Tonight is the John Edwards House Parties Night, so this is so timely!

3. Tonight the campaign was busy with another Event

EE hasn't seen the flowers yet because of other events...but in calling the campaign staff, they tell me she is in for a real surprise. And that the flowers are gorgeous..and EE will appreciate them very much. One staffer said the flowers turned heads today...and that the DU surprised them with our gesture today.

17. I feel so bad

I didn't know about this and I would have loved to contribute. My heart goes out to Mrs. Edwards and her family. I know we're all sending good vibes, good karma and/or praying for her.

I haven't checked DU for over a week. We are getting ready to leave for NC Sunday a.m. I posted on the North Carolina forum that we intend to relocate there as soon as we sell our house. We plan to list when we return - I've been cleaning and having junk removed etc.

When I read what you guys have been up to it makes me feel really small. I know I can only do so much and the preparation and intended move has really taken a lot out of me but, when I realize what Elizabeth Edwards is going thru I'm ashamed of myself.

The roses are OUTSTANDING!! You guys are really something. I'm so proud to be a Liberal Democrat and a member of DU.
