What a bunch of petulant children.

BTW, I'm reacting to the thread about the Florida state official sarcastically referring to Obama as "the messiah".

What a snot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Laura Ingraham spent her school days making her classmates lives miserable!

_still_ damaged from it.

Yeah, maybe they were just kids and "kids will be kids" after all, but the constant name-calling, having rocks thrown at me, getting thrown on the ground and spit in the face, being forced to take off my pants and underwear under threat of being whipped with a blackberry bramble, being chased down with an ATV... these things are are hard to get over.

As to the kids who did this stuff, I am sure many of them grew up to eventually be nice people but I also know for a fact that some certainly did not. Either way, I still can't look them in the eye when I run into them in the store.

Now if some DUers identify with bullies, meaning that they _were_ bullies, I applaud them for working through that and becoming nicer people. And if that is the case I'll apologize if my remark upset them. Hopefully they made many apologies of their own to their victims at some point or another. Not one person who ever did that stuff to me ever said _anything_, even after all these years. Have they forgotten they did that stuff or are they just too ashamed to admit it? I probably will never know.

8. I seem to recall that Alex would apologize from time to time
After getting in over his head, Alex would at least 'fess up. Sure, he'd go out and get in trouble again, that being the nature of a sitcom and all, but he often acknowledged that he had fucked up. Asshats like our Dear Lady Friend in Florida think they're doing God's Own Work, and never apologize for anything.

13. They think we're playing tit for tat.
And they they are obligated to act like we did during Bush's time in office.

They really have no idea how much of a fuck up the majority of the population realizes Bush is/was.

20. hey, my dad drove Oldsmobiles and that remark doesn't
describe him at all.

Oldsmobiles were some damn good looking/running automobiles. Especially the Dynamic 88s. Try to find one from 1965 and you'll see what I mean.

BTW, my dad was UAW labor.

21. Those types get away with everything cause many people enable them through indifference and/or envy
Sad but true. They With The Most, Wins, and the corporate culture conditions people toward exalting that particular ideology's set of "values."

loved to push people around and buy their way through life, and the poorer dumber ones who just liked to beat people up, period.

when their constant racial slurs finally brought one of my dear little pals to hysterical sobbing.

And, no, I have no remorse from dealing out some immediate lessons and justice on the playground that day.

25. The little "passive/agressive" bullies who stole your pen....
Edited on Fri Mar-13-09 07:36 PM by lib2DaBone
Then they claim... "I didn't take your pen".

They are usually the little bullies who take you pen.. then when you go and smack them in the face to get your pen back.. they cry to mommy.

Mommy then calls the school officials who bend over backwards to protect the little sociopaths... who will later go on the become a Columbine Shooter. (or a U.S. Senator)

These are your Republicans. Snotty little fuckers you always wanted to punch in the face. (if you had a chance)

They pay us the less then tell us to go home. The rich ones are better to us because they know how hard we work compared to lazy Americans. Wish things pick up so we get better work.
