Calling For Steele To Step Down From RNC ........
I wonder if the Repugs are going to have to walk on eggs calling for Michael Steele to step down because of his color. Just drawing a comparison to Roland Burris - many have called for Burris to resign the Senate - but a group of blacks have rallyed around Burris and are ready to scream - racism.

Will the Repugs have the same problem calling for Steele to step down and is that why Ken Blackwell is becoming vocal about this?

The Repugs were touting a man of color to head up the RNC right after Steele was elected - how will they handle this?

Right now I hope Steele stays in place because him staying at the helm of the RNC will just cause more disarray in the party. If he does step down - who will they have to replace him and what kind of message will that send out.

Seems to me that they have created a situation for themselves.

1. They don't care if they get called racist or not
They've been stoking racial flames for so long it's just another thing for them. And they have no repercussions because they don't have any minorities as an essential voting demographic.

8. they don't know how to
They just think they can throw up a black guy in a visible position and that's good. Just like they thought Palin would maybe peel off some women voters. In the end, they don't care so much about that, they still think they can just dig in their heels and go even further to the Right and use public relations to fix it all. Instead of going with actual policies to woo voters -- minority or otherwise -- they'll just go to the Right and keep repeating their message ad nauseam. The reaching out to minority thing, they'll just find a few minorities to throw out here and there, like the lady who called for Steele to step down, or Blackwell etc. To them they think it's good enough.

4. Couldn't happen to a better bunch....
The sad thing is I think Steel really thought he was going to be in charge of the party. Instead he got yelled at by Limpballs to "shutup and do what we tell you."

I think the GOP is in a situation either way it goes.

10. No, I want Steele to be Jon Stewart's guest first!!!
Because you know what Jon will do with Steele, that is pick Steele apart surgically, leaving very little to resign.
