But I'm talking about local newspapers. The ones I'm familiar with seem to have a somewhat right-leaning point of view, as if that's safer somehow... :shrug:

No wonder so many of them are biting the dust. I was totally blown away to hear that The Rocky Mountain News went under. When I worked for United Media, they were our flagship paper... :-(
