Chris Matthews is a REAL ASSHOLE...
Still "investigating" whether Rahm's statements were his or he got talking points. The fucking market is crashing, the FDIC is broke, 2 wars we can't pay for ( not to mention the dead soldiers and all), the thieves, er I mean banks and wall street are still stealing every fucking thing in site, SEC personnel resigning quietly after allowing cooked books so as not to embarrass the govt, industries crumbling, homes and jobs disappearing, livelihoods being destroyed, etc, etc and this MOTHERFUCKER is concerned about some FATASS DROPOUT DRUG ADDICT like it means a fuck. WHAT A FUCKING JOKE. WE ARE SO SCREWED............

1. Fuck him! Turn him off!
Personally, I understand exactly why they are being called Cable Chatter Channels......none of what they discuss means a hill of beans!

2. Send him an E-mail. Call MSNBC on the phone, and tell them exactly what you wrote here.
Then tell them you will not watch their network again except for Olbermann and Maddow.

3. Who does Tweety think he got the talking points from?
Inquiring minds want to know.

10. The republicans are convinced that James Carville, Paul Begala and Rahm did it
They're certain there is some sort of "conspiracy" by the three Democrats. Most of us would call it a "strategy," though.

11. Well you KNOW they couldn't have all independently concluded that Rush
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 05:37 PM by karynnj
was a very arrogant know nothing who thinks he knows everything. All of us here say very similar things - and NOBODY needed to coordinate that. After seeing how annoyed the Republicans got when the first person called Rush their leader - it's no surprise everyone repeated it.

The fact is this is another case of them accusing us of things they do. They DO have talking points and they have had them every day since at least 2000.

5. Since when did Tweety *ever* care about who got "talking points"
except, of course, post-Bush Admin. DURING the Bush years, the question was never asked. No one "investigated" anything.

12. Chris has trouble discerning what is real from that which is not...
please do not bear with him, please do not waste your time listening to what he believes is relevant to the times we find ourselves in.

13. He really strikes me as thick-headed and gullible,
hopping from one shiny object of information to another, never really understanding what's going on.

Shiny things indeed..... just imagine the quarters are cogent thoughts and important matters that could have been discussed... http://www.boingboing.net/2008/08/13/crows-stealing-coins.html

Bill is the owner of a company that manufactures and installs car wash systems. Bill installed one of these systems in in Frederick, MD. The issue arose when the buyer complained he was losing significant amounts of money each day. He even accused Bill and his employees of ripping him off.

Naturally, Bill proceeded towards investigating the issue. He decided to mount a video camera to see who exactly is stealing all the coins. Imagine his surprise when he saw several birds carrying all the coins in their nest. After following the birds, he discovered its quarters on the top of a car wash and more in a tree, an estimated amount of $4,000.

17. And YET!1 (similar to SNL's "Really!1" meme, POEHLER/MEYERS)
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 06:50 PM by UTUSN
AND YET, there is a sub rosa contingent of fans of his here. Mostly, they are, I believe, those who formed their impression of him back around 1988 when "Hardball" the book was published, when his identity as a Tip O'NEILL et al. staffer became known----AND (this is crucial) these fans of his did NOT KEEP UP with his cable persona, how he SAVAGED Bill CLINTON and most Dems for years, how he SAVAGED Al GORE throughout Campaign 2000, how he has worshipped RAYGUN, how he whored for Shrub for 8 yrs. Those fans of his frequently repeat as if by rote such canards as, "He was ALWAYS AGAINST THE WAR" and "He was against the war BECAUSE HE HAS DRAFT AGE SONS" and "WHEN he's on our side THERE'S NOBODY BETTER." These fans of his never say where they got the one about the sons, especially ignoring that THERE IS NO DRAFT. Granted, he was more Lib in his now defunct newspaper column than on his G.E.RUSSERT-mentored cable incarnation, but in the run-up to the Iraq Attack NOBODY was more xenophobic and jingoistic than he was, and he SHAMEFULLY performed the on-air execution of Phil DONAHUE as a guest peer on DONAHUE's own show.

Another thing is how the wingnuts label him as a Lib and as an example of that storied "liberal media"-------and how HE hever corrects this label, despite his having voted for Shrub, despite his having said, "I'm not the Dem I used to be," despite his saying to a Dem, disappointedly, "Oh. You're STILL a Dem."

HooKAY!1 Anything about him sets me SO off!1

18. Sorry, me too!
I emailed him back when he was cheerleading for the war, yet disowning his actions at the same time. I felt he was in a position to really make a difference, but aside from a casual " I don't support this move", he never did anything to protest it to the point he was able. I accused him then of having "blood on his hands", no less than bush/cheney themselves. I still feel that way and can never forgive him for that. I hate him, almost as much as fatso and the manatee. Another GE shill (have you ever seen him suck up to Welsh), it's almost as bad a dipshit on morning joe. He reminds me of the kid who got beat up and his lunch money stolen in school. A true wimp if there ever was one.
