Afghanistan Roadside Bomb Kills Three Canadian Soldiers Serving With NATO

March 4 (Bloomberg) -- Three Canadian servicemen serving with the NATO-led force in Afghanistan were killed in a roadside bombing in the country’s south, Canadian Forces said today.

The three men died and two were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated yesterday near their armored car during a patrol in Arghandab District, northwest of Kandahar, Canadian Forces said in an e-mailed statement.

The injured personnel were taken by helicopter for treatment at a medical facility at Kandahar airfield after the incident yesterday and one was in a good and the other in a fair condition, Canadian Forces said.
