So what's going on with Thom Hartmann? Anybody?
I just tuned into WDTW here in Detroit and don't hear Thom. I later picked him up on WLBY Ann Arbor. I went to the WDTW site and clicked on their Thom link and it pointed me to what looks like a new Thom Hartmann home page. Then I went to Air America and it looks like he's been replaced by David Bender.

Does anybody know the story here?

I think David Bender is fine, don't get me wrong. But WTF?? Bender should be ADDED to the lineup, not replace Thom.

Thanks for any info.

6. So he's continued on some stations, but not on others. WTF?
Perhaps he's with Jones network? I don't understand why some stations have him still. Maybe separate deals.

I just want to know all I can so I can pressure WDTW into carrying him again. This is horseshit.

7. Air America has gotten less liberal over the years since being taken
over by Mark Green. Their new lineup seems to lean towards DLC friendly. Bender had T. Boone Pickens on today. How corporate friendly can you get? Fortunately I was able to find Thom on a stream. Maybe he saw the handwriting on the wall and decided to sever affiliations with them before he ended up getting dumped like Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes. I wish he had given us a little warning though.

9. I listened to the KPOJ feed today.
Thom mentioned last week that he was leaving AAR. They do have a way of not weighing themselves down with their best talent. Bender is a good guy, but he's not Thom (or Malloy, or Seder ...)

11. Thom moved to Dial Global (formerly Jones) today; he left AAR.

He's now with the same network that Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, and Bill Press are on. Apparently, not all of the affiliates got the word of the change, so some of them ran David Bender instead of Thom.

13. I usually stream NOVA-M out of Phoenix and they had an hour of Steph
then out of nowhere I was listening to Lionel. I switched to WCPT in Chicago. Didn't have time to listen to Hartmann today.
Oy Vey!
