1. That's not going to help them if they're all exterminated. Why don't we start
by cutting off the weapons sales to Israel and see if we can get everyone to some sort of peace talks to try to work out a long-term solution. Bill Clinton was actually somewhat effective in dealing with the middle east, maybe he can be invited to the table as well. Serve as sort of a senior advisor or something...

4.  hyperbole. although I certainly support cutting off arms sales to Israel
the Palestinians are not being exterminated. They're certainly being oppressed and Gazans were subject to what I believe was a murderous attack, but the fact remains that the Palestinian population has grown markedly since 1948 and continues to grow at a rapid pace.

8. try reality instead of delusion, dear. From the site you linked to:
"At least 6,348 Palestinians and 1,072 Israelis".

There are approximately 5.5 million Palestinians living in Israel on the Occupied Territories. The death of thousands is certainly awful and tragic, but it is not genocide. Grab a clue and get a grip. Oh, and though I'm not about to alert, the site you linked to is not allowed here.

10. Perhaps not genocide by your definition - but the palestinians may
feel differently.

I do apologize if I linked incorrectly - is there a list somewhere of sites we are not supposed to link to?

11. it has nothing to do with my definition. It has to do with reality and the legal definition.
The Palestinians certainly have every right to feel what they feel, but that doesn't make it an accurate reflection of reality.

Arab world has a very different view of the situation than most westerners. As for legal definition, I assume you are talking about an American legal definition, which again, has little credibility to them. Not to mention the fact that our courts don't have jurisdiction over there, no matter how much imperialists would like to impose their will on others.

9. It makes one wonder how much we spent building the bombs we gave them.
Build bombs, give to Israel to bomb Palestinians, rebuild Palestinian buildings, build bombs, give to Israel...

Rinse, repeat, etc.

13. Someone said the same thing in Lebanon when Rice announced
we would contribute aid...

'They give Israel bombs and then offer us food'

And yet we expect people not to notice.

:(

15. Frankly I think that we should take this aid money out of the annual aid package we give Israel
Specifically the weapons money we annually give Israel. Then this wouldn't cost us a thing, and perhaps Israel might learn something.

We should remove ALL our aid to Israel. They don't need our aid anymore than the Canada.

20. I agree with you on that, however given the nature of our ties with Israel
It will probably have to be done a bit at a time, and I think that this would be a good way to start.
