Meanwhile over at Jim Robinson's FreeRepublic.....
....in between getting ready for their next FleeceaFreep (took us five days to reach our goal Jim, guess you Republicant moneybags aren't as fucking wealthy as your deluded minds think), the insane asylum is warning everyone about the next "gun grab" by law enforcement like the one that happened in NOLA.

They fail to mention that it was that mercenary group formerly known as Blackwater turned foo-foo club called Xe that did the gun grab. Major dildos up every orifice, motherfuckers (and just to relieve your fears that you might lose your thingy substitute, nobody hear wants your large bore handguns. Now go fulfill your promises to use them on yourselves).

Gun confiscation: can it happen again?
Cleveland Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 20 February, 2009 | Daniel White

Posted on Sunday, February 22, 2009 1:35:25 AM by marktwain

I've talked several times in the last week or so about gun reforms needed in Ohio. I'd like to close out the week by examining one in particular that some people might not think is needed because of the Second Amendment.

Many people outside the gun rights community don't know that we had an actual gun confiscation in this country only a few short years ago. Some think that it isn't even possible to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens due to the Second Amendment, and in fact, the gun control advocates use that naivety to claim gun owners are just paranoid. But in September of 2005, citizens of New Orleans found out just how real that threat could be.

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, when law enforcement and safety forces were decimated by the natural disaster, the response of the authorities was to confiscate all firearms.

Gun confiscations have occured several times in this country. In Louisiana, it was during Katrina, but in New York, it was after registration. Registration is what anti-freedom types lust after, because without registration, most confiscations are ineffective.

“Only law enforcement are allowed to have weapons,”

Yeah, and violent criminals, who, UM, don’t hand theirs in, or have it registered.

IMO, registration is one big point where you have to say “the law is illegal” & ignore.

As long as the sheeple believe crap like this, it just may come to pass.

‘The shotgun, which apparently belonged to Brown, is designed for children and such weapons do not have to be registered’

2. Well, that would be the first thing the dominionists would want
to do...take everyone's guns away. The freepers are just too stupid to understand that. Bunch ninnies.

6. Doesn't change the fact that some people equate their firearm with their "manhood".
Even some here, probably.

4. It's been way crazier than usual over there lately.
They all have donned their tinfoil hats and are talking about 50 trillion dollar stimulus packages coming out every month, taxpayers paying for everyone's mortgage in America, the fairness doctrine being restored & Rush and Hannity being rounded up and executed by Obama's Civil service corps, Soviet style communism being the law of the land complete with Lenin's tomb being moved to D.C., etc, etc.

5. You forgot about the birth certificate fiasco still going strong!
That one is still the banner issue over there. It's actually pretty hilarious to go over there and read that stuff. First time in years that I could stomach that place for more than 10 minutes.

12. it's not just over there
it is every right wing site - every site a conservative is allowed to post at. They all are unhinged and Obama's administration has just begun. They frighten me, they haven't handled defeat well.

8. Actually,
I think they prefer whacking off to Guns and Ammo. It's closer to their hearts, and they all have at least one copy.

9. I wish we would stop giving that site traffic.
Half their traffic stats have to be DUers clicking links here. Traffic = revenue.

Do we really want to support FreeRepublic??

Their owners are thrilled, I'm sure. :eyes:

17. Traffic doesn't = revenue for them
AFAIK they do not even run ads on the site, much less traffic based ads.
