Suspect named in Chandra Levy murder .... it is NOT Gary Condit
It is some guy, 27 years old, by the name of Ingimar Quandique (Kwan DI kay). Apparantly he's already in jail on other sex charges.

Will the media apologize to Condit? I doubt it.

3. IIRC, Condit sued and received undisclosed amounts of money from three tabloids.
But I can't recall the details, but am pretty sure that happened.

18. I'd sue him back for cheating on his wife with my kid. Condit was old enough
and in a public enough job to know that if he banged an intern he would be suspect number one if she disappeared. He deserved what he got, the gay bashing shit head.

2. Out here it was referred to as ConditCountry, and republicans wanted that seat so fucking bad...
they were willing to smear an innocent man with a murder charge to make it happen...poor Chandra

4. The media is probably congratulating itself on their
ratings. Destroying someone's career is unimportant as long as M$Greedia is cashing in.

6. September 11 2001 knocked that story out of the media's obsession.
I think MSNBC had a frickin' camera trained on Chandra Levy's apartment and a microphone shoved in Condit's wife's face 24/7.

7. They were relentless and disgusting
Yes, they had camera stakeouts everywhere.

They were hoping for another OJ low speed chase.

8. Where is Connie Chung?
In her interview of Condit she was relentless in trying to make Condit cry and admit he killed her.

10. Why no recommendations? Condit was racked over the coals over this
He didn't deserve treatment like that. His career was ruined and the voters lost a good congressman. It's a disgrace what happened to him.

and always viewed it as a media trying to create a story where none exists.

14. Had he never had an affair with her, none of this would have ever tainted him..
High profile people need to remember that the person they cheat WITH is always connected to them, because someone always "knows", and if anything happens to that person, their name WILL surface..

This is good news for his family to KNOW for sure that he didn't do it.. and for her family to know who DID do it, but none of it changes the fact that she's still dead:(..and he's still a cheating cad:(

My only real gripe is that Scarborought got NOTHING from the press, except for a complete pass..:(

15. A little animosity there? Yes, it would
be nice if politicians were saints....how many of them have been elected? We had Jimmy Carter and what happened to him? Yes, I'd like it if they kept their pants zipped, but with all the digging, how clean would most of us be/look?

17. No animosity..just a dose of reality
Many "good" politicians have been "undone" by their "appetites", and the necessary secrecy that follows..:(

13. Condit was an asshat, BUT that doesn't change the fact he was ruined for this.
If he were to have been ruined, it should've been on his own terms, not a goddamn witch hunt.

21. The suspect is a young man who is in prison for sttacking other
female joggers in the same park. They may have physical evidence connecting him with Levy.

Condit gave a very grecious statement in which he thanked his own family for standing by him.

I would sue everyone I possibly could over this one - They really did a job on him.
