Rapture Ready: "Ann Coulter helped me see the light on evoltuion!"
'I will never forget here at work my 2 coworkers were talking about how if you did not believe in evelution then you stupid. Well I actually spoke up and they just looked at me as if I had told them I was an alien. We got into a debat and was able to hold my own. At least got them to confirm that it was not proven. Even before I was a Christian I had trouble believing evolution. If you think about it, it just does not make since. Of all people Ann Coulter helped me see the light on evoltuion in one of her books.'

that we should expect to see more of, I'm hoping global warming wipes out human life on this planet really soon!

6. A fine example of learning there...
'I will never forget here at work my 2 coworkers were talking about how if you did not believe in evelution (sic) then you (sic) stupid. Well I actually spoke up and they just looked at me as if I had told them I was an alien. We got into a debat (sic) and was able to hold my own. At least got them to confirm that it was not proven. Even before I was a Christian I had trouble believing evolution. If you think about it, it just does not make since. Not to mention the missing punctuation.

Please cite using objective evidence, preferably peer-reviewed studies.

The burden of proof is on yourself
We have the living God that changed our lives
All you have is dusty old theories supporting your atheism.

27. I'm a progressively-minded homeschooler.
I'll stack my daughter's test scores against the average kid in the conventional classroom any day.

You need to rid yourself of that bigotry.

We meet with a credentialed teacher monthly, and use a state-approved curriculum.

Kids blossom in different environments.

Top 100 Stories of 2008 #36: Creationism Lurks in Public High Schools

One in six teachers say they believe the earth is 6,000 years old.

. . . According to the first rigorous nationwide survey of how evolution is taught in U.S public schools, as many as one in eight high school biology teachers presents creationism or intelligent design as a viable scientific alternative to evolution.

The researchers, led by Penn State political scientist Eric Plutzer, questioned nearly 1,000 teachers about their personal beliefs and the amount of class time they devoted to evolution and creationism. The results? About one in six of the surveyed teachers espoused young-earth creationist views, and most of them taught their students those views. Only 23 percent strongly agreed that evolution was a central theme in their teaching.

Let's say it again: Not ALL HOMESCHOOLER's are fundy nutjobs. . . and the DU'ers on here who do homeschool, or ARE homeschooled, really resent the knee-jerk reaction of people who don't know a damn thing about homeschooling.
