Watching the rich cannibalize the rich is somewhat interesting
I.E., Madoff and "Sir" Stanford.

No honor among thieves. But, since many of the uber rich themselves got that way through various financial shenanigans, siphoning off profits, shell partnerships, third world sweat shops, off-shore bank accounts, tax avoidance, etc. why would they expect it(honor)from anyone else? These people have a better understanding than anyone else that the entire game is crooked.

It must be just dreadful to be down to the last few million you can vacuum out of your antique Rolls collection.
