Dear Heavenly Father, We are a sick and dying nation - and tonight, we were fed poison that very well may be fatal to our liberty, to our government, to our way of life. Tonight, along party lines, wicked people voted away our future and took that which was not theirs to take to increase their power in government. May it do them no good, and may the statesmen who voted against he atrocity be blessed for standing - even if it is just this once - for something higher than political power. This bill, which President Obama will sign into law, will just be the beginning. As vampires they will suck the very life out of this nation, and will never be satiated until she is dead. The love of money truly is the root of all evil; and the love of power is close behind.
Cursed be those who hold up wealth and power above You! Unless they repent, they will surely perish and not even take so much as a penny with them. It may take years, but those who mock You, who seek to stop Your people in their prayers, who abuse the system to the point that it is obscene, will face their judge, and when they do it will not be pretty. Vengeance is Yours.

Short of this, I pray that You would come to gather us with You in the clouds. It is very painful to witness the destruction and dismantling of a nation so blessed; yet our ultimate citizenship is in Heaven. How we long to be with You Lord. Still, for our nation's sake, we would that You would bring revival. Nevertheless we Yield to Your will.

It seems that Christianity never has any problem demonizing the poor, nor praising the rich, which is why it has been used to keep people in line in this country for too long. Not that I blame Christ himself, he is the one who said plainly that "it is harder for a camel to get through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to get into heaven." He also said "blessed are the poor."

But as far as principle goes, how you this person ask to be gathered according to principle when the last eight years have seen a dismantling of principle? It is one thing to allow a person to earn money based on what they provide, but the last eight years have seen people turn every aspect of this country into a criminal scheme, including the Iraq War, which, regardless of if you even agree for the reason it started, was run like business venture by companies that could send men to war, but would not provide body armor for them, or care for those wounded.

Note that Christ said "as you care for the LEAST of those, so shall you care for me". Remember how in his example, many cried to the Lord, saying "did we not do great things in your name?" but because they did not care for their fellow, they were told "I do NOT know you." This country has been blatant about the fact it did not care for the weak in this country. People were demonized for being poor, even if what put them there was a Medical Bill, or a transfer of jobs to China. How can you act like a Christian, when it is plain that you are not willing to allow good to be done to the "least of these?" Do not be surprised if you are told "I do not know you" on Judgement Day!
