1. I don't think this overeducated nerd has a clue.
"limiting the size of the stimulus now for the sake of "fiscal responsibility" would be self-defeating and might prolong the recession."

Ignoring time tested virtues, "fiscal responsibility" for example, might be self defeating and may prolong the recession.

I don't think anyone really knows what to do and doing something so huge about the economy with so little understanding is sort of like 535 little kids playing with matches. Will they learn when to and when not to play with fire, or will they burn what's left of our economy down?

7. "Fiscal Responsibility" Has Been Neglected For 28 Years
As far as we can tell, this situation looks more like The Great Depression than anything else. During the Depression, the more the government borrowed and spent, the more the economy recovered. So, our *best guess* is that we should do the same now. However, there's no guarantee that this will reverse the past 28 years of Republican (and Clinton) debauchery.

means lots of folks will see this in what is a very Republican part of Ohio & N. Kentucky in Mitch McConnell & Jeanne Schmidt's media market.

:toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

The recommend button does not load until the articles that have most comments, most recommends load, right now I'm getting them in IE & not FF, but it varies.
