Never ever try to reach across the aisle and try to work with these asshole republics.

They do not care about you.

They do not care about America.

4. I agree that these guys don't care about America, but I think Obama

is being very smart. The world sees that he held out a hand to the pubs, and the world sees that they spit in his outstretched hand. I think the pubs come off looking as obstructionist (which they are), and Obama comes out looking like the peacemaker, not a bully for just pushing it through.

5. Obama is from Chicago.
Of course he is taking names. He is not stupid and will use this to prepare for his next battle.

6. He went above and beyond to reach across the aisle
I think he's doing a great job of unmasking the bandits.

10. Oh good grief. Another one.
No, he is almost certainly NOT taking names. Since that would be a stupid waste of time.

And no, he is almost certainly NOT concluding that he should "never try to reach across the aisle" considering it's working out GREAT for him. It doesn't matter if the Republicans cooperate or not. Reaching out, by itself, benefits Obama. If the Republicans play ball he gets what he wants.. win. If they don't play ball they show the nation they're partisan hacks who refuse to cooperate with Obama when he's offering to let them work with him and Obama still gets what he wants anyway because we've got the House and Senate.. STILL win.

Why the hell would he not keep doing exactly what he's doing?

12. Not one single GOPer voted for the package. So much for going all out, Obama.
Stop wasting your/our time and certainly stop giving them (GOP/ the Grasping Oily Pathetics) things they want like more tax cuts. The GOPers got what they wanted from you and didn't even have to "vote" for package. I wanted more money for infrastructure and for greening America and the world and for mass transit. I didn't get it and I "voted" for you, Mr. O.
