Chimp is keeping his faux ranch

Yep...like I thought..he had to sneak unannounced into Dallas. Weird little trip, though. He came to take a less then "30 minute tour" of the house.

Former President George W. Bush took a road trip to Dallas on Tuesday, marking his first visit since leaving the White House.

Bush and his wife, Laura, toured their new Preston Hollow home and went by the Preston Center building that is being readied for his office.

It’s not clear exactly when the couple will move in to their new quarters. They have said they plan to spend most weekdays in Dallas, where they lived before Bush was elected Texas governor, and most weekends in Crawford.

7. Ding, ding, ding...that's what I'm thinking.
Or they will swap places, taking turns at the Dallas house. But I'm thinking you are right. Laura will be in Dallas to "help organize" the library, etc...given that she picked the house out, he never stepped foot in it til Tuesday, and even then it sounds more like a "swing thru Laura's house to make it look good".

2. He'll probably use it for a tax write-off.

He'll be paid for not growing certain crops that
he never had any intention of growing anyway.
