This is the Republican mentality

In their eyes it is all about who is more macho. Rule of law, precedents, checks and balances mean nothing to these idiots. I hope congress is ready for a nasty fight, because the republics only have that to stand on anymore....

1. That doesn't even make sense!
The Dems aren't just trying to kick sand in Bush's face!

Outing Valerie Plame has made it easier for our enemies to obtain nuclear weapons. The US Attys were fired for conducting proper investigations of Republicans, and for NOT conducting IMproper investigations of Democrats. These are serious indications of deep corruption at the highest levels of the administration. Its the Congress's DUTY to investigate.

To be fair, the illustrator (I won't call him a cartoonist) should show Bush killing a couple kittens and burning a house down before he gets sand kicked in his face.

11. It doesn't make sense to me either--unless it is agreed that Dems are bullying
and that's the farthest thing from the truth. And to show Bush standing up to them is absurd. That must have been a Republic cartoonist--and we know they don't have a sense of humor.

2. While watching a special on a serial killer it stuck me that
Edited on Sat Mar-24-07 09:52 AM by Stargazer99
the attitude and value system of this killer reflects the same attitude many conservative Republicans have.
When asked of the killer if he had any remorse his answer was no because caring is a weakness, it carries too much baggage. My thought was this is exactly the response I got from a Republican when I confronted him about the difficulty financially of getting my prescriptions. The reaction was "well that is interesting but it doesn't register emotionally with me". This killer was responding to an intense sense of being humiliated in his young life, my guess in order not to destroy himself he had to destroy those who tried to humiliate him. That in itself speaks volumnes why bullying should be stopped right in its tracks. But his culture has some kind of respect for those who can kill and yet live themselves, legally rob others but not be robbed. This caring is a weakness fits the Republican value system perfectly, especially if the negative end results affects only the poor and low income.

5. Repukes don't care about the poor and weak because they can't care.
I honestly believe that a large percentage of repukes in the corporate media, in large corporations, in religion for profit, and running our country can not feel any guilt. They can't understand how other people feel so they don't feel guilt for hurting them. They have no feelings for others, just for themselves. It is as if the emotions of other people are bizarre and unknown behaviors they can't understand. They don't understand other people's emotions and don't feel guilt over hurting them. They will never understand it because that is how they were born. They don't have the guilt gene.

9. The Bully's Mentality.
Might makes right.

That's why you never back down from a bully.

If you have to, you grab him by the nose and kick him in the pants.

10. And on ABC World News tonight they told us
not to feel sorry for Valerie Plame's ruined career because she'd probably get a book or movie deal out of it. Talk about missing the point!
