Re: National Press Club Session on Wednesday, January 28th
Our next session will be on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:00pm in the McClendon Room on the 13th Floor of the National Press Club (at 14th & F Streets NW, Washington, DC). Dinner with our speaker(s) will begin at 6:30pm.
You may recall some time ago that we had Susan Lindauer as our speaker. At that time, she had just been released from the Carswell Federal Prison Medical Center on a Texas military base and from the Metropolitan Correction Center in Manhattan after nearly a year of pre-trial detention without a conviction at trial or even an evidentiary hearing.
The federal government claimed that she was not competent to assist in her own defense and attempted to forcibly drug her. Her appearance as our speaker showed how conspicuously competent that Ms. Lindauer was and is.
Her troubles clearly derived from her findings as an intelligence expert that our late national adventures in the Middle East were not derived from any sane assessments, a view she shared with her second cousin, Andy Card, former Chief of Staff to U.S. President George W. Bush.
Much to the chagrin of the media manipulators, she's back. The government recently dropped all charges against her, thus denying her an opportunity to prove her case. Since this only happened a few days ago, she has graciously agreed to be our guest again to bring us up to date on the convoluted efforts of the U.S. Department of Justice to cover up the facts in her case.
This is an inside story that we have been in on from the very beginning. Thus, you won't want to miss the latest developments.
As an added feature, we also expect to hear from investigative reporter Michael Collins, who will join us for our session. Her attorney, Brian W. Shaughnessy, may also attend.
Mr. Collins articles about the Lindauer case are linked at the bottom of his most recent article for New Zealand?s Scoop Independent News, entitled ?Feds Drop Case against Accused Iraqi Agent? at www.Scoop.co.NZ/stories/HL0901/S00210.htm.
So plan to be with us... and please remember to bring a friend.
