"Bloggers oust US Attorney General"?
Edited on Fri Mar-23-07 10:21 PM by johnnydrama
Is this what the headline will read. Truly amazing, and shows how much power we have.

First Josh Marshall digs all this up from the ground level, and goes deeper, and deeper and helps to make it
as big a scandal it is.

Then, all over the liberal blogosphere, we get shout outs of the 18 day gap, the 18 day gap, and then it's picked up all over the mainstream news, and lo and behold, we get tonight's document dump showing Gonzales unequivocally lied to Congress in information from e-mails from that gap.

I hope this shows to all politicians, left and right, Republicans and Democrats, that if you lie, you will be caught.

The internet could be the best thing to happen to politics ever.

With things like Snow saying how executive privilege is necessary, while writing about it being nonsense 10 years ago, or
Republican congressman talking about Congress not interfering with a War, while those same congressman interfered with a Clinton
war.

Hypocrites, liars and cheats, you will be found out, and be exposed!

4. Don't get too triumphant.
He ain't gone yet and there still a lot of fightin' left to do.

Besides, after hubris comes nemesis. If you don't believe THAT, just take a gander at them: They wouldn't be up to their ass in alligators if hubris hadn't informed their every move.

8. I agree. I predict Alberto Gonzales will stay until the end of this term.

There will be another Bush scandal soon which may not primarily involve Alberto Gonzales, thereby taking the heat off him.

9. Thanks for the smile (about Gore).
I too am grateful that it is so easy to check out past statements by politicians now that we have the internet.

11. Sometimes I get the feeling that
the power of the internet is the one thing they didn't plan for in their takeover. We must be the biggest thorn in their side! The power of information, they didn't expect it at all, it's taken time but we have come from being a small minority to the majority opinion.
