14. My sister brought home a used TV

that she "rescued". She plans to donate it to either a friend or community organization.

After we hauled it inside, she asked that I take a look at it to see how well it functions.

I got it connected and turned on and was fiddling with the color adjustments... Barack was on the tube of course.

Sis asked me what I was doing and I said I was adjusting the color.

She said, trying to be funny, "no matter what you do he will still be black".

I didn't know what to say. Dumbfounded. I know her husband is a wing nut racist... but she was raised differently!

and it's like Christmas morning around here. The kids just love Obama (I guess they know he likes kids too). It was a great day here. Lot of joy.


My McCain supporting Az. Mom put it well-I don't care if you voted for him or not-he's the president and we all should stand behind him, he needs all our help.
