Freepers declare their love for W, declare war on geese and are dreading inaugeration
Edited on Sun Jan-18-09 12:57 PM by galaxy21
George Bush was a great president, geese are the new military threat and Joe the plumber is showing reporters how it's done, according to their recent remarks...

"Why George W. Bush Reminds Me of Abraham Lincoln"
(in response)
"Well, they both managed wars in an incompetent manner"
"He pissed off The South??"

"As for Obama's swearing in: I am going to work dressed in black. I wish I could see better, I would wear a veil."

"If term limits weren’t around Bush would have easily won another term."

"The idiots who call Bush an idiot have never been demolished for their idiocy. Bush is a genius. Blame his loyal party for failing to demolish his detractors."

"I’m still smitten & feel very proud of Pres Bush."

"Sullenberger is a hero. Who else could have done that? Wow."
(in response)
"W could have, maybe"

"I think Bush is going to be like that science or English teacher you had years ago. Every day in that teacher’s class was a little bit of hell. You even considered murder a couple of times. But now, years later, you realize just how valuable that teacher was in your education. You remember things from that class and can’t recall anything from any other classes during that time of your life.
Every school has at least one of them. For H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, FL, it was Mr. Robinson. Everyone dreaded his biology class, but then years and years later when he died over a thousand of his former students showed up at his funeral."

"One of the smartest things Bush did was to not get hung up on Bin Laden. Sure it would have been nice to get him, but the fact is that it was just not that tactically important."

"This is like a dictatorship, courtesy of the RATS running the show. Good-bye to the old Republic and say hello to the new “Empire”. Not too far from Star Wars."

"I would like Cheney to be in charge for the next eight....why didn’t he step up to the plate?"

"I have to wonder if we would have a Muslim Marxist president if Cheney had thrown his hat in the ring in 2008. Captain Queeg certainly wouldn’t have been our nominee. We would have had a real conservative with courage and convictions, and I think he would have mopped up the floor with Hussein Obama." (If Cheney had been running, Obama could have taken a six month vacation, come back on election day, and still won in a landslide victory)

Freepers also had time to discuss Flight 1549

"Kill all birds."

"Geese are nasty, aggressive, destructive, filthy beasts. They’re not even all that good to eat and they deposit huge amounts of excrement everywhere they go."

"Kill the damn birds. Enough is enough. There are a Quntillian number of birds alive on the this planet. When was the last time you got up in the morning and thought, “ Gee, I don’t think I get through the day because the Ivory-billed Woodpecker is extinct. 95% of all species that have ever lived are extinct. Who the hell cares! Shoot em, poison em, burn em or anything else you can think of. Absolute insanity. Maybe we should all strip down and sit in cages for PETA!"

Then talk turned to some FR favourites

"Sarah has been vetted by now more than anyone in history and she’s clean as can be. There’s only so much they can get out of an honest, clean, regular person. They would have to start making stuff up to fit their agenda."

"It would seem that Palin is just about the cleanest politian out there right now."

"In five minutes “Joe the Plumber” did more to earn a Pulitzer for journalism than the rest of the MSM combined for the last decade."

"why is a guy with zero reporting experience, training, and skill telling other reporters how to do their job?"
(in response)
"there is no one else to tell the reporters that they should do their job, so it falls to guys like Joe."

"Joe the plumber: The problem with the “fifteen minutes of fame” thing is that some people only have ten minutes of sense"

"I’m thinking that there were two amazing people to come on the national scene in 2008.Sarah Palin and Joe the plumber.Sometimes something really wonderful happens and we need to be thankful that these two are now part of our world in a way we could never have predicted.Go JOE Go"

"Sarah Palin is the future of the GOP"
(in response)
"Then God help us, we are surely doomed."

"Nixon, unlike the Democrats, was never crooked. He did not want to tear up the nation over the fraud perpetrated in Chicago and so he never challenged JFK’s election.Dick Nixon put this nation before his personal aspirations, even during the silent coup that was Watergate."

Yeah, if he hadn't lost his pilot's certification for failing a drug test.

5. Let's get one thing straight about Two Shoes the Non-Pilot.....
...he was pencil whipped through training, he was never a pilot and he was stupid enough to try and pilot a C-172 using some techniques that may have filtered in during his "pilot" tenure.

A telling sign of his non-pilothood, during his entire career fucking up everything he possibly could there was never a single mention of his given call sign. A USAF pilot's call sign is given to him by his squadron mates, the fact that nobody ever mentioned it tells me he never qualified to have one.

However I have one for him: Two Shoes.

10. Here's another way I know he was never a *real* pilot...have you EVER
heard of a pilot in the prime of their life VOLUNTARILY giving up their flying status?

It just doesn't happen.

I have seen pilots in their 70s that have started crying because their medical certification was denied. For a pilot to give up his flying status at age 26 is mind-boggling.

12. It's my real name.
Of course I come from the dirt-poor-potato-farming side of the family, not the manufacturing side.

:P

3. I see one thing here they are right about.
They, themselves, demonstrate that the uman population has grossly overbred. I worry more about the absence of ivory-billed woodpeckers than I would about the absence of Freepers.

9. Love this quote...
"For H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, FL, it was Mr. Robinson. Everyone dreaded his biology class, but then years and years later when he died over a thousand of his former students showed up at his funeral." So, I wonder if Mr. Robinson biology teacher taught Natural Selection/ Theory of Evolution.

16. Joe as a vp candidate
"I'm running for vp, but to tell you the truth, you know, I don't think there even should be a vp candidate. Remember, the good old says, 200 years ago when there wasn't one?"

The Joe vs Joe vp debate would be quite funny though.
