1. My husband has a massive crush on her, but I can't take her harsh, flinty "HAAA HAAAAAA!!!"
It's almost like braying. Very unattractive.

13. It's funny, I was almost convinced that word had gotten back to her
a month or so ago, and that perhaps she had used a voice coach to help her with that because for a while there, her laugh was actually not startlingly grating, and I was happy for her.

Unfortunately, it appears all that hope was purely a figment of my imagination because the abrasive tone is back in full force.

I'm surprised that execs at msnbc haven't addressed it. Given her profession, it does detract and is destracting (and I would think - embarrassing for her... ). She couldn't be unaware of it, could she? Really?

Usually, I would find it offensive to criticize the way someone laughs (even if I didn't particularly like it) but I do so now because I really think it does her no favors - and I read about it often, so a lot of her audience finds it unpleasant which just isn't good for a high profile news anchor.

Just a thought...

15. It's her thinly-veiled snark and seemingly prurient interest in innuendo and sleaze ...

... that I find most annoying. She'd be better suited to a gossip column than front page news, imho. She's just too much of a "dig-me." It's hard to choose between her and Wolf Blitzer ... they're both showing a slime trail.
