Bill Frist on CNN this Morning
He was talking about health care. He said there are 40 million people uninsured in this country at $12,000 per year for a family of 4. He said our Government can't afford $120 billion a yr for health care.

I was thinking, we could afford almost 1 trillion for the War in Iraq, that was a War based on lies.

3. You know, Bill Frist needs a therapist.
Being upset about loosing an election should be a mental illness. Right Bill?

4. how much money
Aside from saving by shutting down BushCo's wars.... Are we still throwing billions of dollars a year at missile defense? If so, how much do we spend on it? I am not up to date on that, but I know it was an obscene amount of money last I heard.

6. God, I've missed him -- NOT. I was driving and listening to Bill O'Lielly
(actually didn't know who it was for a while). He was actually trashing Bush so I thought I was tuned to Sirius Left.
Off topic - he is mad at Bush for not telling all of us how much trouble we were in, financially. Also, he said that
the Tarp law says that the Secy of Treasury is responsible for protecting the financial interest of the people. He
said, "Where the hell is Paulson - haven't seen him in two weeks!"

Back to your post...this item must be circulating as a talking point. O'Lielly said the exact same thing. When he said
people want special treatment - I wished I could have called him. I wanted to ask..."What is the difference between
a government giving special treatment to the upper class and corporate interests - in the way of sweetheart deals, tax
breaks, blind eyes to regulations, etc. --and--doing the same for the actual people of the country like providing them a doctor
when they are ill?"

8. " I wish you were dead "
Edited on Thu Jan-15-09 10:22 AM by callchet
When you won't help people get health insurance you are saying to them " I wish you were dead ". Do these people think that the poor just chose to spend their money on other things. Do they not realize that the " poor " don't have any money after they pay for the basics. And their basics are limited and at the very lowest wrung of the quality ladder.
