Does anyone else think
that W is pretty much drunk all the time in recent weeks?

Every single time I've seen recent video of him he looks and sounds like someone who ranges from having had a couple of drinkds to someone who is just about three sheets to the wind. He slurs, he mispronounces words perhaps even more than usual, he makes even less sense than ever, he seems unable to focus his eyes. It's really disturbing, and I'm prepared at all times to think the worst of him, but this goes even beyond that.

1. No, actually I don't think he'd had a drop
I only say that in a clinical sort of way. The other day there were a bunch of posts as he was giving his last press conference saying he seemed to be drunk. I switched on immediately to see for myself. I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the subject - I went for almost exactly 30 years without ever drawing a sober breath before quitting. I can spot a person who has been drinking a mile away - I really can. Anyway my conclusion was that he's an idiot, his brain must look like swiss cheese and his liver is probably as hard as a rock, but he hasn't been drinking alcohol. You skin changes in a way no makeup can hide, your voice changes in a way sober people can't seem to recognize, your mannerisms change in more subtle ways than sober people notice. I don't know how to describe it but I am certain he's been dry. I don't mean that as a compliment by the way.

2. Just His Usual Dillusional
I think his natural state is stuck on "stupid"...I've known plenty of people like that and they don't need to drink or be stoned to act that way...they're just naturally stupid.

From the little I can stand to see/hear from the fukstick sounds like a little kid who turned into the goat of the neighborhood and is blaming everyone but himself for what happened. Total lack of both humility and responsibility...symptoms of someone whose always been pampered and never had to be held accountable for his wrecklessness.

The pleasant thought is this scumbag's days in the public light are numbered. After next week, the only words he says I'll be interested in will be in his defense in a World Court.

3. No doubt in my mind
at the olympics it was too obvious to miss. I spent a good portion of my life with a drink close by, sober for work and family events but other than that drinking and I say junior is still drinking and more than likely will continue. I can see a person who is drinking and I see w drinking more times than not. At the recent olympics gwb was drunker'n a shithouse mouse.

4. Interesting.
Two posters, from equal experience, draw the opposite conclusion. I don't want to see a flame war, but it is fascinating that reasonable people can draw completely opposite conclusions based on the exact same evidence. So we can't definitely say whether or not he's drinking based just on his appearance and behavior. I'd love to speak to those who have gotten near him and ask if they've smelled alcohol.
