Jobs: not only lost, but those never created
Back in 2004 a number bandied about that was needed to keep employment level was an additional 150,000 jobs per month. This would absorb immigrants and others entering the job market. By that measure, in his 8 years Bushco needed to add 14,400,000. I believe Clinton added 23 million.
Given that, what was the overall performance by Bushco. I am not sure where to look, but I have a feeling that total added jobs for eight years must be approaching 0.
One of my biggest complaints against Bushco is opportunities lost. One of the best examples of this is education not received due to the "teach to the test" caused by NCLB. Union busting, slow or no reaction to disasters, dissing of scientific findings and on and on goes the listof areas where we have lost at least eight years of progress because of Bushco.
