The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts:The full list released by the White House – which includes Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former Karl Rove deputy Israel Hernandez – after the jump.

The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts:
–Condoleezza Rice, of California, for the remainder of a six-year term expiring 09/01/14;

21. Right, I don't see the problem here. She's already and ex officio member of this
board IIRC, and she has the background for this. There may be people out there who are technically more qualified, but if it's customary for the outoing president to 'reward' his loyalists this sounds like a pretty harmless way to do it...

9. I would just make life so
miserable for all these people in their positions that they end up quiting. You give them no authority and everyday you meet them you rip them a new one. You also let the underlings blow them off and spit in their face and you just laugh. They deserve nothing less.
