Any news on Dan Browns next novel, "The Solomon Key." I was worried that
some might not want that book to be published.

2. I'll bet it opens with a murder in the prologue,
.... then has a bunch of obvious 'clues' that baffle his expert codebreakers ("An anagram? How diabolical!") then a climactic battle against the seemingly friendly yet murderously corrupt hierarchy of a religion/government/corporation.

In other words, it'll be exactly the same as his other four books.

3. All wrapped up in ancient conspiracy theories that were thoroughly debunked long ago
He is something of a one-trick pony, isn't he.

4. Bingo!
The debunked conspiracy theories are paramount.

7. That was in one book and is not a common theme in his writing
Hey, he has to do something to distinguish one book from another. :toast:

Now, if you want to add something else, how about his abject failure to research the cities he describes? I remember reading about how, in "The Da Vinci Code," he had the protagonists turning right from one street to another than runs parallel to it, how they drove at high speed for 20 minutes to cover the fifty yards between Point A and Point B, and how certain key landmarks had been altered or destroyed years before the story took place.

10. LOL
He just gets better and better.

Why do I still have my day job and bozos like Brown and Robin Cook make mega-bucks?

9. LOL
You just saved me from buying any more of his books. Not that I would after slogging through The DaVinci Code. I kept reading, despite the ghastly writing, because I thought it might have a nifty ending. Wrong.

Have a Bumpty-Bump Christmas and New Years.

13. I slogged through all four - execrable
I was working at B&N at the time, so no money to Mr Brown. But sheesh, what a terrible writer.

Merry Christmas, wryter2000! You got the chop! :fistbump: :pals:
