Like I said, I don't know if the claim has been substantiated, but the explosion doesn't disprove it.

They'll use pilot error. He shouldn't have been flying in those conditions, he should have topped off the fuel, he shouldn't hang with scary people, etc. If they can dredge up a shred of compassion for the family they'll blame it on the mechanic or the FOB.
