Let it join that of soldiers, the families of soldiers, and peace activists if Obama seeks to "compromise" on peace, and the victims of the failure to enforce the Constitution (whether they be from the "war on terror" or the "war on drugs" or any future "war") and civil libertarians of all stripes, if Obama "compromises" the Constitution.

Let the world hear "NO". Let the world hear "HELL NO".

If Obama wants to compromise, fine. Make him compromise with us, not with the Right that caused this mess we're in and whose policies, even in small measure, are poison that prolongs this crisis and extends the misery of so many people.

...in which a DUer publically admits that they at first were shruggy about the Warren choice, but came to see how truly offensive it is as a result of fellow DUers posting their protests against this bad invitation.

I have yet to see a formerly insulted DUer come back and post "Sorry that I was against Warren at first, but on further reflection, I trust Obama's bridge building strategy will work better for gay rights in the long run."

It takes a while to move people toward equal rights under the law; but once they get there they tend to stay on the moral high ground.
